![]() The main body is mostly made up of 150D fabric, while the accent and the base of the bag get heavier 600D fabric, all of which are recycled polyester with PFC-free durable water repellent coating. Like with its other bags, Osprey uses a mix of different deniers for the fabric on the Daylite Cinch. At the time of writing, other colorways available include the following: Wave Blue, Cosmic Red, Dream Purple, Ash Mamba Black, Tortuga Dustmoss Green, Umber Orange Verdigris Green, and of course, Black. Either way, we dig it because it gives the Daylite Cinch personality that sways with the wind. Meanwhile, gloomy weather can really bring out a darker hue of blue. Under bright light, the Basalt Eclipse Gray colorway can appear light blue, even lavender-ish. One quirk of the Daylite Cinch we have is that its color is slightly different depending on the lighting condition. Osprey Daylite Cinch | The bag’s name gets its own text logo. The same can be said for the Daylite Cinch, and the achieved aesthetic can be summed up as tall but streamlined. As for the shape, Osprey has typically done well with the sleek and aerodynamic design they’ve used on a lot of their backpacks, including the bike-focused METRON, Tropos, and Radial. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, as the bag is quite spacious for a 15-liter daypack. The Daylite Cinch’s tall profile disguises its relatively small capacity rather well. However, it did take some tweaking to get the carrying comfort just right. On the trail, we found the Daylite to handle as fluently as the brand’s other backpacks, which is already a huge check in our books. It’s an outdoorsy backpack with built-in features to accommodate a hydration bladder. In this review, we’re going to be taking a look at the 15-liter Daylite Cinch. Osprey Daylite Cinch | Carrying comfort isn’t something we take for granted here. Yes, they’re not a hundred percent perfect, but they’re definitely up there when it comes to backpacks that handle rather well. Whether it’s the 13-liter Daylite or the 34-liter Tropos, they have a knack for creating bags that don’t make us feel like we’re trying to haul something big. These straps can clip through two carry holds on the Daylite Travel. The Fairview and Farpoint Treks are equipped with two heavy duty outer compression straps that cross the main panel. Those packs were, however, designed to integrate with the Daylite Travel Daypack. The Fairview Trek and Farpoint Trek (new versions of the traditional Fairview and Farpoint packs that we all love already) no longer come with their own detachable daypack. Carry integration with a variety of compatible Osprey packs – any pack with two outer compression straps can clip through the carry holds on the outside of the Daylite Travel.Sunglass-safe pocket on outside – Soft material made to not scratch your sunnies, although they put a key holder clip in this pocket as well, so don’t use them both for their purposes at the same time.Hip belt straps – Not big padded ones, about an inch-wide strap.Two deep water bottle holders – Big enough for full size Nalgenes, although when fully packed, narrow water bottles will fit better.Laptop sleeve – As a digital nomad, this is important for me! A protective laptop sleeve gives me peace of mind while I’m carrying my office on my back.Keep it low profile or stuff ALL the layers, lunches, and water bottles you need, this feature makes this entire pack for me. Expandable main compartment – My FAVORITE feature of this pack.
